OK, OK. That’s an old joke. But this is an old comic. This is THE first Moosehead Stew comic I ever drew. I scribbled it after blurting it out, pretty much verbatim as seen in the strip, while watching Mythbusters one night. It was the episode where they are testing to see if you can use explosives to tenderize meat, and we had to pause the tape while Layne glared at me and I laughed my ass off over my own joke. I’m like that sometimes.
That’s kind of how watching T.V. with me goes – I’ll even provide ‘witty’ and completely unnecessary commentary while watching M3K epsiodes.
Also, I am a huge Mythbusters fan. It’s pretty much the greatest, geekiest show ever. There’s explosions, robots, medieval weaponry, chemical reactions, and science. Plus, they once built a giant animatronic shark, which ranks pretty high in my list of “coolest things you could do, ever”. (It’s just below building giant animatronic dinosaurs.)
Emma Says:
Oooh I love Mythbusters! and I got to admit I dont thaw either unless it’s over 30 degrees celsius.
Greg Says:
Unfortulently the only time we have been in San Fran was when we were just changing flights otherwise I so would have pictures of me infront of the Buildings that they shoot the show in. Very few things would turn me fanboyish but that would be one of them.

Mythbusters and Brainiac are both great Shows, but their Influence on German “Science”-TV is less than healthy as all of “our” Shows try to Copy their Charme and fail horribly. They even Copy the Trials those Shows pulled off – down to the last Bolt.
Currently they only show “the biggest this, the biggest that, the heaviest Pizza, the largest Steak” – where’s the Science in that anyway? _-_ /rant off.
Vince LoGreco Says:
Mythbusters is awesome, I don’t watch it nearly as often as I should.

Wait till you see (if you haven’t already) the sawdust cannon and fainting goats episode 🙂
Quite a silly one 🙂
I haven’t been to the Mythbusters set, but I was at the Alameda Naval Air station before it converted to Mythbusters. I was there for a tour of a Nuclear Wessel….heheheh (get that reference?)
