Hey everyone! Moosehead Stew is back!!
Sorry for the long break, folks! Between starting my new job and an entire month of conventions, something had to give, and unfortunately, that something was Moosehead Stew. (Imagine working all weekend AND going out partying with your friends, then working a full work week and a part-time job drawing on top of that. Now imagine keeping that up for a month. Yeah. I was EXHAUSTED!! Me and Mr. 5 Hour Energy drink became very, very close friends.)
Thankfully, I’ve now had time to catch up on things like sleep and my buffer of Weregeek comics, and I finally have enough energy that the thought of cranking out just ONE more strip doesn’t make me want to crawl under a rock and whimper.
But, there’ll be a few changes around here! For one, I think I’m going to have to go back to updating MHS just three times a week. Working a day-job just doesn’t leave me enough time for the 5-day-a-week update schedule + Weregeek.
And, secondly, to make sure I don’t have the two strips competing for my time on update nights, I’m going to switch MHS from a M-W-F schedule to Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. That should make things flow a lot more smoothly in the future!
Thanks for sticking with me, guys!

Yay! As for the latest comic, I swear that’s me on the right in the middle. That’s about how I felt most of Connecticon :).
Rosy the Cat Says:
Regarding the comic: Just like Finals Weekend in College! Not only do you have to write papers at all hours of the night and take tests oh-crap-thirty in the morning, but you have to pack up to move for the summer too! Isn’t “adulthood” GREAT?!

Welcome back, Alina! I’ve been enjoying MHS, and look forward to the new strips. (And Weregeek rocks, BTW. I’m not a gamer, nor a Goth, but have many friends who fit both molds, and i see the Truth in the strips!)
Purgatoriant Says:
Yay! Happy ending for the month. And the update schedule switch might be a good idea from readers perspective too. Less waiting, though the reward is only half of what it used to be.
Sticking was no problem after spending two weeks refreshing the front once after every five seconds, just in case. I’ve been sticking to everything for a while.

yay you’re back!

YAAA new Moosehead stew. And I so agree with this comic, then again I was staff at a con.
PedroSteckecilo Says:
Ha! So true! because of the timing of everything at ConVersion 25 at the end of August, we survived the entire weekend on Tim Hortons Sammiches… not the best way to do things.
ShadowFox Says:
XD its not just artists who run around starving for food at restaurants. after a con. you think the con-goers have the time or the money to spend on food during a con? XD HELL NO! The last day is when everyone disperses and runs an entire restaurant out of food.
Rob Says:
Ah.. the ever present conundrum of con food… Those restaurants never know what hits them and we’re all probably the better for it.
Vandole Says:
Oh dear! http://www.mooseheadstew.com/2009/09/08/ links to the first comic with its previous button.
Damien Sim Says:
Yes!!! Been wondering if you left us in the learch. Really enjoy your comics. Maybe thinking of getting a copy of Weregeek vol. 1 for my brother-in-law…. he may just like it 😀
